About
Jen Aly, M.S., Founder of Happily Ever Now™ Coaching & Training, is committed to supporting women to get off the treadmill of overworking, stress and exhaustion and into a fully satisfying life. She helps you breakthrough the elusive myth of ‘happily ever after’ and to create a life full of real love and authenticity. If you are tired of reliving the same dramatic, unsatisfying or non-existent love life, Jen is your woman.
She was one of the first coaches to be trained by best selling author and “O” Magazine Columnist, Martha Beck in 2003. She has training in various healing modalities, is highly intuitive, worked as a professional organizer in the San Francisco Bay Area and serves as a Master Coach for Rejuvenate Training.
In her first career as an English as a second language teacher, she taught college, university and adult students in Tennessee and California. She was also an academic fellow to Honduras where she worked as an educational consultant.
Her approach to life and coaching stems from a profound love of nature, growing up in Tennessee and having lived in Central America. After moving back to the U.S. she sensed that something “just didn’t feel right” about working her booty off, experiencing physical exhaustion, chronic stress and nagging anxiety. Jen knew there had to be something better than working all the time, playing very little and not enjoying what she did have.
She was at her wit’s end one day after her a car wreck where her car was totaled, she had very little energy to vamp up her business after the holidays, had no love life to speak of and was living with an unofficially certified crazy roommate and had $40k in debt.
Jen did all she could do. She went for a walk and plopped down in a knoll of trees about a mile from her house. There had been a severe storm weeks before and there was debris all over the ground. She realized that her life was now in chaos like the post-storm debris. She had much less judgment for the chaos in nature than the chaos in her life. This is when she realized that life is not a linear trail to happily-ever-after-land. Life is constantly changing and flowing and things are falling away and being born.
Through the wisdom of nature, practical tools, years of experience, and humor Jen teaches you how to gracefully dance between the fast-paced world and the serenity of your personal inner calm. Have all that you want AND enjoy it.
Jen’s approach to relationship is influenced by Gay & Kathleen Hendricks, Satyen & Suzanne Raja, Hal & Sidra Stone and Barry & Joyce Vissell. She views relationship, money and organizing your life as spiritual practices of continually choosing love, power & surrender. Jen is a recovering Southern Drama Queen/Control Freak who learned & grew from years of relationship dysfunction before she decided to shack up with her partner James. They live in Maui.
